It's been a huge year here at DJ Mag North America. We've once again hosted our annual Top 100 Clubs and Top 100 DJs polls, plus our hotly-contested Best of North America awards, alongside compiling tailored guides to big Stateside events including Miami Music Week, EDC and, most recently, Halloween. We've also welcomed some incredible cover stars over the last 12 months - think: REZZ, Chromeo, Nervo, Mariel Ito and many more - plus traveled the globe to rate and review the top festivals and parties for dance music lovers worldwide.
In this December issue - our final of 2018 - we're keeping the original spirit of rave alive via interviews from icons like The Prodigy (page 60) and The Crystal Method (page 32), plus hooking up with more recent icons including Major Lazer (page 55), Gorillaz (page 46) and our cover star Nicole Moudaber (page 20).
We've also tripped out to Israel to give you the lowdown on partying in Tel Aviv (page 52) and included an exhaustive guide to Miami's yearly Art Basel celebration (page 85). Over on page 68, we've asked if dance music is contributing to the world's environmental crisis, while on page 43 we've listed off a bunch of things that didn't exist 10 years ago - and some of them might just surprise you!
As usual, we've got all the best new music from house to d'n'b to hip-hop rated and slated (page 89), while our tech section offers up the best news and reviews in the world of DJing and music production (page 112).
And with that our final issue of the year is complete, so from our DJ Mag family to yours, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a happy new year - see you on the dancefloor in 2019.
