DJ Mag's new flagship, a global, quarterly magazine. First edition will be sent in January 2025.

Price for four editions, delivered quarterly direct to your inbox in PDF format.

Since 1991, DJ Mag has been the global voice of dance music. Initially operating as a fortnightly, before shifting to a monthly edition at the dawn of the internet era…the time has come for the next phase of our evolution.

In 2025, DJ Mag’s iconic print edition is being re-imagined as a premium quarterly edition with triple the previous shelf-life, triple the distribution, increased pagination and vastly improved paper quality  — all combining to create a highly-collectible, heavyweight edition that meets the demands of modern readers while remaining the flagship and focal point of the global DJ Mag brand.

Ahead of the relaunch, DJ Mag is undergoing a full creative rework, increasing focus on a clean and modern design aesthetic that will showcase an increase in original photography across at least 180 pages each issue.

Each cover will be produced in matte-laminate, and the internal paper stock is being increased so every photo and word is crisp on the page. This will all combine to ensure DJ Mag’s quarterly editions will be a high-quality essential read for dance music fans across the world.

Each quarterly edition will also feature three cover stars, on even rotation, allowing us to celebrate more artists, extend our shelf-life to three months, and make each edition highly-collectible and in-demand. While the covers will be distributed evenly and at random, all three full-length cover features will be included in each edition.

DJ Mag editor Carl Loben said “Along with the rest of the team, I’m excited to be bringing DJ Mag into its next phase of evolution. Electronic dance music is a perpetually exciting movement, forever changing, and is now bigger globally than ever. As the flagship publication, this new quarterly edition will allow us to increase focus on the in-depth, discerning, internationally relevant long-form features DJ Mag has specialised in for many years I can’t wait to get cracking!”
